Where shall wisdom be found?

Where shall wisdom
be found?

From Chauvet,
Kapova and Lascaux.

From Ptolemy,
Aristarchus
and Hipparchus.

From Newton
to Einstein and Bohr.

Where shall wisdom
be found?

And where is the place
for understanding?

Man knoweth not
the price thereof;
neither is it found
in the land of
the living.

The depth saith,
It is not in me:
and the sea saith,
It is not with me.

We must know,
we will know.

Vanity of vanities,
saith the Preacher,
vanity of vanities;
all is vanity.

But hope knows
no boundaries,
say we, and
our perseverance
is limitless.

We seek
the impossible,
and shall
conquer it
in time.

and beyond!

Time waiting for tracks

The seconds pour
over the edge
and fall
like flakes
of snow
spread in the wind
unable
to form
minutes
hours
days
years
a life

And yet
the snow falls
and forms
a surface
pure
untouched
of time
waiting
for tracks

Water

Water is ice

Searching

To see,
realise, discover.
Understand, explain,
to know.

life, this,
the whole.
The Universe, us
and all.

And me,
myself, my Self.
My consciousness
and its dreams.

And death
and its friends.
The End
and so on.

To seek the depth
the deepest and beneath.
To search the seer
and see the seeker.

A fool chasing
a shadow,
a butterfly
in the rain?

Or a drowning
fighting in the sea,
that connects
then with now with when?
